Hungarian Military Trade Union: Honvédszakszervezet (Hosz) www.hsz.hu ; https://www.facebook.com/honvedszakszervezet?fref=ts Honvédszakszervezet is one of the hungarian soldiers representation of interest organizations. Nowadays Hosz has around 3.000 members who are in the structure of the Hungarian Defence Forces. It has more than 100 basic organizations and local groups. Yearly agreement between Ministry of Defence and Hosz mainly determine the working conditions of the trade unions. Minister of Defence: Csaba HENDE (FIDESZ: govermental party representative) Honvédszakszervezet is a member of the country wide reconciliation of interests system (01/2013, OKÉT) Hosz is in new economic situation (only membership fee) from July 2013. Membership fee is being collected with an own bank system. Hungarian military personnel will get 30 % salary increase from 01/July/2015 and additional yearly 5% more salary increase until 2019. Honvédszakszervezet was a member of the negotiation process for it. Basic law of the Hungarian military personnel is under reregulation: „the Act CCV of 2012 on the status of military personnel”. New law will be fits for the new military carreer model and new military salary system from 01/July/2015. Honvédszakszervezet was a member of the negotiation process for it too. In November 2015 leadership and board will be reelect by the Congress of Honvédszakszervezet. THE XVIth MEETING OF LEADERSHIP REPRESENTATIVE ORGANIZATIONS OF PROFESSIONAL SOLDIERS AND MILITARY PENSIONIERS OF VISEGRAD GROUP STATES JOINT STATEMENT The Leadership of Representative Organizations of soldiers of Visegrad GroupV-4 bearing in mind both their charters obligations and conclusions of the meeting held in Pákozd-Székesfehérvár on the 11 –13 September 2014 state as follows: We unanimously agree that both soldiers and military pensioners’ devotion and sacrificing to military service deserve to be respectively appreciated. Therefore we oblige themselves to intensify our efforts in order to draw more public opinion’s attention to specific military service conditions and requirements, soldiers must to meet. Our goal is to make public opinion aware of the fact that soldier’s profession cannot be assessed by criteria of peace time. The Armed Forces task as soldiers one is to keep readiness for military action. Soldiers meet the requirements. It is proved by their participation in peace keeping missions abroad. We underline our understanding of the world financial crises effects. Professional soldiers and military pensioners feel particularly affected by the crisis side effects. We do believe that the constrains are just temporary ones. Soldier – a citizen in uniform – needs a special protection. He needs feeling of security service and stabilization of military service conditions. Creation of such conditions belongs to state authorities. The leadership of Svaz vojáku z povolány Armády Ceské republiky from the Czech Republic, Honvédszakszervezet from Hungary, Konwent Dziekanów Korpusu Oficerów Zawodowych from Poland and Zvaz vojakov Slovenskej republiky from Slovak Republic appeal to the authorities of the Visegrad Group States to look at soldiers and military pensioners’ needs with more respective attention to understand our expectations concerning contemporary and future conditions of their life. All the meeting’s participants unanimously agree to pursue for the best standards’ of live achievement. Delegations of the leadership of representative bodies have also found that next – 17 meeting of representative bodies of professional soldiers and pensioners of the Visegrad Group states will be held in Slovakia by Zvaz chairmanship. The joint statement was written in English language in four copies, one for each of the signed parties. Both language versions are considering identical and equally bending.
