Kumrat Valley is located about 2 hours away (normally it's 45 minutes but due to road conditions it's 2 Hours) from the town of Thal. Kumrat is covered with green pastures, snow clad mountains, the river Panjkora, foggy mounds and forests are attractions of the region, which serve as habitats for variety of flora and fauna. Day 3 Kumrat valley is one of the undiscovered marvelous beauties of Pakistan that makes you feel too close to the nature and mesmerizes you. The waterfall here seems like rock from far but you can hear the voice of water falling on rocks from quite a distance which makes you realize the presence of a waterfall somewhere between these heights. The new species is characterized by a fibrillose reddish brown pileus, pruinose stipe with a prominent marginate bulb, and nodular spores. Sequences from the internal transcribed spacer region suggest that I. kohistanensis is distinct from all other Inocybe species sampled.
