Introduction:
Mr. Kowser Ahmad Ganai is presently working as assistant professor History in the department of higher education ,Jammu and Kashmir, India. He has worked as lecturer in school education department for six(6) years and seven(7) and half months. He has also worked as contractual lecturer in GDC Women Anantnag in the year 2009 for ten(10) months. He though a B.Sc student opted History as an additional subject . He did his masters in History from university of Kashmir and secured first position in the department . He has been awarded Gold medal for having secured first position in the Master of Arts(History). He has also been awarded Dr.Mohammad yasin ghazipura Gold medal for having secured first position in the master of Arts in history. He has qualified NET three times and SET one time. He is a member of editorial board of Directorate of distance education university of Kashmir. He has prepared a study material for the directorates P.G course for Islamic studies. He has published research papers in peer reviewed journals with high impact factor. He is working on many research papers which he hopes will be completed in near future. He is presently working as assistant professor History in Govt. Degree college Boys Anantnag , jammu and Kashmir. He is a member of different college committees viz. Library committee, Scholarship committee, Canteen committee etc.
Awards and Achievements:
1. Received Gold medal in the 17th convocation of the university of Kashmir from the then Governor Shri N.N Vohra and the then Chief Minister Mr. Umar Abdullah for having secured first position in master of Arts (History).
2. Received Dr. Mohammad Yasin Ghazipura Gold medal in the 17th convocation of the university of Kashmir for having secured first position in Master of Arts(History).
3. Received certificate of merit in the 17th convocation of university of Kashmir for securing first position in order of merit in the Master of Arts (History).
