Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ 1-Day Park-to-Park Plan

Thanks to continued expansion with first-rate attractions and experiences, Universal Orlando Resort™ is easily a multi- day destination. Still, we know some of you only have one day to experience the parks, so we’ve created this 1-Day Park-to-Park plan. It includes most of the major attractions; but to see and do more, we recommend you follow our 2-Day Park-to-Park plan.

Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ typically open about a half-hour ahead of official opening time with a handful of attractions in operation. We recommend taking advantage of this, especially during the busiest times, by arriving at least 45 minutes ahead of opening time.

Harry Potter™ fans and families with teenagers will love Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade™ and the headlining rides Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™. The park has an abundance of thrill rides, including the serious coaster The Incredible Hulk Coaster® and the incredibly well-done The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man® and Skull Island: Reign of Kong™. For families with younger children, there is plenty to see and experience within the park, especially the water rides Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls® and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges®.

With The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley™, Universal Studios Florida™ is home to one of the most amazingly themed lands of any park we’ve ever visited. Through painstaking detail, experiential retail and interac- tive experiences, Diagon Alley™ is as close as you can get to being transported into the books and movies! On the headlining Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™, guests go deep inside Gringotts bank for a wild ride some 10 miles down into the bowels of the wizarding world’s most secure vault!

A word about Universal Express℠: Most of the Universal Orlando Resort™ attractions offer Universal Express℠, or skip the lines access. The exception is Pteranodon Flyers™ in Universal’s Islands of Adventure™. Single Rider lines are typically faster than even Universal Express℠, so consider splitting up when wait times are at their highest.

Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ 1-Day Park-to-Park Plan

We’ve created this one-day park-to-park plan so you can experience the best of both parks, including the Hogwarts™ Express, which requires a Park-to-Park ticket. This plan assumes you are not staying on-site at a Universal Orlando Resort™ hotel*, and therefore do not have access to Early Park Admission, and you are entering the park ahead of official opening and finishing in the evening. We recommend visiting on a weekday for lower crowds. During busier times, a virtual queue may be in use for select rides. This plan assumes virtual queues are not in use.

*If you are staying at a Universal Orlando Resort™ hotel, we recommend taking advantage of Early Park Admission to experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ when crowds are at their absolute lowest, with the option to revisit it in the evening.
