II, NO. 11 (#36) APR. 11-24, 1969 MILWAUKEE - APRIL S,1969 PAGE 2 April B - 24, 1969 KALEIDOSCOPE High! First, some apologies. The last issue, and the issue be fore that, were late. This has mostly to do with our printer and some unfortunate but perhaps unavoidable hassles he's been going through. With this issue, or the next, we'll be back on schedule. Other hassles have caused most subscribers' copies to be mailed extraordinarily late, so late that some subscrib' ers are reported suffering the pains of withdrawal. What can we say after we say we're sorry? We love our subscrib' ers and would wish them no anguish, if you're among the slighted, hang on, we're coming. The situation is about rectified. And when our ship comes in we'll reward you all by buying a second class mailing permit, which will mean all subscribers will get their papers the day after printing. About this issue: one of the most common, and valid, complaints with Kaleidoscope is over our lack of local news, a situation we've been trying to rectify for some time. The front section of this issue contains almost nothing but locally originated news, photos, and artwork. The major piece is the Model Cities analysis, beginning on page six. If you couldn't care less about Model Cities, the article may not interest you, which would be a shame since it has a lot to say about the mechanics of Mili«vaufeee'poli tics. And this town is, after all, our home. Anyway, it would help if you'd let us know how you like the local coverage. And while you're at it, let us know what types of things you'd like covered in future issues. More politics? Sex? Dope? Insanity? In addition to ideas for articles, we need people to write them. Any volunteers? There's a lot of good copy we couldn't fit into this issue. Some of it will go into the next issue; hope you don't miss it. Love from our tribe to yours.
