To those unfamiliar with 's writing I can say that in my opinion Stephen King created this pseudonym as a no-pressure foray into psychological thrillers, rather than his usual horror genre. My only complaint is that King tries a little too hard with creating the future setting and goes overboard with the names and slogans for things that he uses in his setting. I was satisfied with the read at the end, even though I had a hard time really getting into it. The rest of the story is just him talking to the class and figuring how it came to this point.
