Specific Put-In and Take-Out: Both the put-in and take-out will be Palo Verde Recreation Site.

Planned Trip Route A – Bass Creek (Red Trail = trip out; Yellow Trail = Return, See Map): Trip Out - Cross to north side of lake directly from Palo Verde Recreation Site, follow the east shoreline north up the channel that runs toward Apache Lake. Stop for rest and breakfast across from Mushroom Point. Continue and cross to west side of channel near Bass Creek. Arrive at bass Creek

Return – South Along west side of channel around Mushroom Point continuing to the mouth of the channel. Cross to the east side of the channel and follow the north side of the lake and cross to Palo Verde Recreation Site.

Float Plan: Canyon Lake - November 16 2019 Alternate Trip Route B – La Barge Cove (Blue Trail = trip out; Green Trail = Return, See Map): Trip Out - East From Palo Verde Recreation Site toward Canyon Lake Marina. South into La Barge Cove, rest and breakfast at Boulder Recreation Site. North Past Canyon Lake Marina and east toward Tortilla Bay.

Return –West toward the entrance of La Barge Cove then along the south shore of the lake to Palo Verde Recreation Site

College, Tempe AZ 85281) 2) 6:45 – Depart for Canyon Lake 3) 7:45 – Arrive at Canyon Lake Palo Verde Recreation Site and gear up 4) 8:15 – Set out on the water (Check in with Ryan Allison via text or phone call if service allows) 5) 9:30 – Stop for snack/breakfast 6) 10:00 – Start heading back to Palo Verde Recreation Site 7) 11:00 – Load kayaks on Trailer 8) 11:30 – Leave for Tempe (Check in with Ryan Allison via text or phone call if service allows) 9) 12:30 – Arrive at Tempe Town Lake Unload Gear (Check in with Ryan Allison via text or phone call)
