Competitive rates may be quoted for the supply of PVC Containers for destination at Livestock Farm Complex, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai – 600 051. The offer should be kept valid for six months from the date of bid / tender opening and first supply is expected within Ten days from the date of supply order. All Prices should be quoted on per unit basis. The prices quoted shall be basic cost which is inclusive of Insurance, freight, transportation, Road Permit, packaging inspection and unloading charges for delivery at destination. The value of CGST, SGST, to be given as percent of base rate and not in absolute values in the respective columns. Manufacturers / Suppliers bidding for PVC Containers should submit Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five Thousand Only) in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the Professor and Head, Livestock Farm Complex, Chennai – 600 051 failing which the tender will not be admitted for financial bid opening. The original demand draft drawn on or after the date of publication of e-tender should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format along with the technical bids. The original demand draft will be received directly immediately after technical bid opening. A sample of PVC containers both 120 lit and 200 lit capacity to be supplied should be brought and handed over to the Technical Committee at the time of technical bid opening. Bidders who do not submit original demand draft and other details on the date of technical bid opening will not be considered for financial bid evaluation. Demand drafts handed over during technical bid opening should be similar to scanned and uploaded demand draft in the technical cover. Bidders submitting mismatched demand drafts in the tender will not be admitted for financial bid opening. Cheques will not be accepted. If for any reason the tenderer withdraws the tender before or after being selected or before being rejected by the competent authority, The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University reserves the right to forfeit the deposit in part or in full.
