El Calendario Español De Campo a Través Es El Mejor De Europa Y La De Itálica La Mejor Prueba Nota de Prensa nº 042/2009 - Madrid, 28 de abril de 2009 [email protected]– www.rfea.es EL CALENDARIO ESPAÑOL DE CAMPO A TRAVÉS ES EL MEJOR DE EUROPA Y LA DE ITÁLICA LA MEJOR PRUEBA Itálica continúa a la cabeza de la clasificación española de mejores carreras de campo a través. El Cross Internacional de Itálica gana tanto en la clasificación de la temporada como en la clasificación del promedio de los tres últimos años, que es la clasificación que realmente considera oficial la Real Federación Española de Atletismo para establecer cual es la mejor prueba española y la que decide que organizaciones españolas nos representan en el Calendario de la Asociación Europea de Atletismo (AEA) y en el Calendario de la Asociación Internacional de Federaciones de Atletismo (IAAF). Para la próxima temporada 2009/2010, el mencionado Cross Internacional de Itálica y el Cross Internacional de Soria formarán parte del calendario IAAF, mientras que el Cross Internacional Valle de LLodio y el Cross de Atapuerca lo serán del Calendario AEA. Esta clasificación la elabora el Área de Competición de la RFEA al término de cada temporada de Campo a través, pero este año la RFEA ha ido más lejos y ha establecido una clasificación con todas las citas de campo a través del circuito de la IAAF y de la AEA que se celebran en Europa, para conocer y valorar mejor la importancia del calendario español en el viejo continente. La respuesta de la clasificación es contundente: 9 de las 10 mejores pruebas que se disputan en Europa son españolas. A continuación facilitamos ambas listas, en primer lugar la clasificación “española” y en segundo lugar la clasificación “europea”.
