World Athletics List of International Competitions 2021 For the purposes of determining whether an Athlete is an International-Level Athlete for the purposes of the 2021 World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules (2021 ADR), the following constitutes the definitive list of International Competitions referred to in Rule 1.4.4(b) of the 2021 ADR (sorted by the category of competition). Nota de Prensa nº 122/2012 - Madrid, 5 de diciembre de 2012 [email protected]– www.rfea.es Dossier de la Selección Española CAMPEONATO DE EUROPA DE CROSS Budapest (HUN), 9 de diciembre de 2012 España viaja a Budapest con un gran equipo en su conjunto, aunque las mayores posibilidades por equipos, a priori, las protagonicen los equipos sénior y sub-23 de hombres, así como algunas individualidades en varias categorías. El principal objetivo de la selección es continuar incrementando las estadísticas en el medallero general, donde España es cuarta con un total de 44 medallas (13 de oro, 16 de plata y 15 de bronce), las mismas que Rusia y por detrás de Gran Bretaña, que suma 92 medallas, por 59 de Francia y 54 de Portugal. VdB revistaXXXVIIcrossAYV-264V8SIn_Maquetación102/12/1614:34Página100 XXXVII VdB revista XXXVII cross AYV-264_Maquetación 1 05/12/16 12:33 Página 101 “Un ejemplo...” El Cross Internacional de Venta de Baños, se ha convertido en un ejemplo de esfuerzo colectivo de nuestro municipio; primero, por la colaboración imprescindible de empresas ubicadas en Venta de Baños o que mantienen relación con el municipio; segundo, por el trabajo voluntario realizado por vecinos que forman parte de colectivos, asociaciones, etc. de nuestro municipio; tercero, por la participación de estos vecinos como protagonistas del evento o como espectadores, en directo o desde otro lugar, de las variadas actividades que durante el fin de semana se suceden una detrás de otra. Y por fin, por la implicación necesaria que todas y cada una de las corporaciones locales, que se han sucedido a lo largo del tiempo, han mantenido con esta prueba. En definitiva, todo el municipio es partícipe de alguna manera de este pequeño milagro que ocurre cada año. Pero el Cross Internacional es generoso con este esfuerzo, nos devuelve autoestima por el prestigio y la importancia que en el calendario de cross a nivel internacional ha conseguido este evento, propicia el conocimiento de nuestro municipio a través de los medios de comunicación y especialmente por las imágenes de TV de las actividades celebradas; además, dinamiza el municipio con la presencia de miles de personas; y, lo que no es menos importante, tiene una repercusión económica en las empresas del municipio y provincia. Solo me resta, invitar a todos a disfrutar de este evento que tiene lugar los días 17 y 18 de diciembre y que constituye algo único en el panorama atlético español y mundial. -

Campeonato Do Mundo De Corta-Mato
O Campeonato do Mundo de Corta-Mato, uma das mais importantes organizações da Federação Internacional, teve o seu início em 1973 na cidade de Waregem - Bélgica, e tem-se realizado anualmente, até ao presente, sem qualquer interrupção. No entanto, uma competição semelhante, mas sob a denominação de Cross das Nações, conhecera os seus primeiros passos no início do século (1903), sofrendo interrupções de 1915 a 1919 e de 1940 a 1945, devido às duas Grandes Guerras. A partir de1998 (Marraquexe), o figurino dos Campeonatos do Mundo voltou a sofrer transformações com a inclusão dos percursos curtos, tanto para masculinos como femininos. Portugal, no escalão masculino, inicia a sua participação ainda no Cross das Nações em 1955 - S.Sebastian - Espanha. Continua presente até 1959 ininterruptamente. Volta em 1963, depois 1973 (agora já sob a denominação de Campeonato do Mundo) e a partir de 1976 nunca mais deixa de estar representado. Ainda que colectivamente nunca tenhamos conseguido expressar em classificações a classe internacional da globalidade dos nossos meio- fundistas, já que quatro únicas vezes chegámos ao pódio com 3os lugares em Nova Iorque (1984), Amorebieta (93), Belfast (99), e Vilamoura (2000), o mesmo não se poderá dizer das actuações no estrito campo individual. E aqui, mercê muito principalmente de Carlos Lopes, que pode ser considerado, sem qualquer favor, um dos maiores - se não o maior - "cross- man" de todos os tempos.Campeão do Mundo em Chepstow, no já longínquo 1976, repetiu a façanha oito anos depois em Nova Iorque e ainda alicerçou mais a sua fabulosa classe no ano seguinte em Lisboa, com novo título.
