From a very young age, Samia says that she “loved to play with equations.” She explains, “My favorite subject was mathematics and I always succeeded in getting the highest grade.” Growing up, she realized that many people didn’t consider women for technical or field work. “I wanted to break this stereotype. My family gave me an open choice for selecting any field and luckily, I am the first female engineer of my family.
