Attachment 4

Silvery Moon xx is a Bay Frame Stallion. 50% of his foals will inherit the Frame Overo pattern of irregular white patches on the body and face.

A mare with Frame Overo should not be bred to Silvery Moon, as there is a 25% chance of having a foal with OLWS (Overo Lethal White Syndrome).

Frame Overo is not always visible, so any mare which has Frame Overo in her pedigree should be tested even if she does not have white spotting herself. All Quarter and mares must be tested for the Frame Overo variant, even if they are a solid color.

A mare with a white spotting pattern caused by another genetic variant (e.g. , White Spotting, ) can be bred to Silvery Moon without problem; however, if the variant is not known, the mare should also be tested before breeding.

Breeder Statement:

o If a foal with Overo Lethal White Syndrome (OLWS) is born, I will not hold HuL Marbach responsible.
