Welcome to Schwerin
The fifth memorial tournament in honour of our friend and successful boxer Sven Lange will take place in Schwerin. 120 boxers from Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Slovenia, Netherlands, and France took part in last year’s tournament. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Schwerin this year. We are hoping for lots of participants and a great tournament.

Juniors/U-17: -48 kg, -50 kg, -52 kg, -54 kg, -57 kg, -60 kg, -63 kg, -66 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, -80 kg, +80 kg
Youth/U-19: -49 kg, -52 kg, -56 kg, -60 kg, -64 kg, -69 kg, -75 kg, -81 kg, -91 kg, +91 kg
Groups: 8 boxers compete in each weight category according to the k.o. system. The draw will take place on 14th december 17.

If you let us know well in advance, we can arrange a shuttle service from Hamburg Airport, Rostock Warnemünde or Schwerin Main Station to the accommodation.

Tournament Rules
Participation:
Juniors are boxers born in 2001/2002 Youth are boxers born in 1999/2000
Tournament:
The tournament is held on three consequtive days in two boxing rings. There are two age groups. Eight boxers compete in each weight category in the k.o. system. Apart from the official fights, sparring and unofficial fights can be organized for boxers who are not involved in the official tournament that day. * We will provide 10 oz gloves for fights in each age group and weight category. * It is obligtory to use AIBA approved headgear (Adidas, Top Ten, Wesing, Sting ) * Boxers with long hair must wear a hairnet or cap. * All competitors must be dressed according to AIBA regulations. * AIBA scoring system will be used in fights. * All competitors must have a valid AIBA Record Book.

Jury/Judges:
Judges are appointed by the Boxing Association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Mecklenburg-Pomerania). Each team may bring along one judge.
