TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCREDITATION

Accreditation: Please return sheet 1 and sheets 3, 4 and 5 (press ticket order form), along with a copy of your press pass, either by e-mail or fax. If you prefer to wait and get accreditation from the Leipzig Bach Festival Press Office in Leipzig, you will also need to present your press pass or a letter of confirmation from your editorial office. Press tickets will only be issued on presentation of these documents.

Acknowledgement of receipt: You will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail, or by fax on request, on reception of your order. Confirmation does not entail automatic entitlement to the tickets ordered.

Press Office: The Leipzig Bach Festival Press Office is situated opposite St. Thomas’ Church, at the Thomas Square 15 and 16, in the courtyard of Leipzig Bach Archive. It will be open from 11am- 8pm on June 08 th 2018 as well as daily from 9am-8pm from June 09 th onward. Besides issuing press tickets and acting as your contact for interviews, we also offer a photo and Wi-Fi service. Please note that we are unable to provide computer workstations for you in the Press Office.

Press pass: The Press Office issues 2018 Bach Festival press passes to journalists who have accreditation for several events. Please note that the Bach Festival press pass is not a substitute for valid press tickets.

Press tickets: Journalists are entitled to one press ticket per event. You can collect the tickets from the Press Office. Press tickets for events marked with (*) will be handed out directly at the box office. You can also exchange tickets at short notice in the Press Office, subject to availability. In the interest of other Bach Festival visitors, we ask you to return unwanted press 2 tickets in plenty of time.

Paying tickets: Needless to say, in addition to your press tickets you can also order paying tickets for the Leipzig Bach Festival by post, payable by invoice or credit card. Please understand that in this case, we are obliged to charge € 4.90 (Europe) or € 10 (worldwide) for postage and processing. As a general rule, paying tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.

Programmes: Programmes will be handed out at the box office prior to the commencement of the respective event on presentation of a valid press ticket. Please note that programmes may not be available for every event.

Documentary proof: Please send us copies of your articles as proof. If you do not provide articles in spite of requests from our Press Office, we reserve the right not to grant accreditation the following year.

Photos and film recordings: Camera teams will be shown to their respective press points 30 minutes before the start of the event by our press team. Please note that no photos may be taken during the concerts, including for private usage. Please use our free photo service.

Of course, you can also attend the main services, matins, motet concerts and organ recitals which will be taking place during the 2018 Leipzig Bach Festival free of charge. To do so, enter your name in the lists displayed in the Leipzig Bach Festival Press Office up to 30 minutes before the start of the event.

Also during the Leipzig Bach Festival, you have the opportunity for visiting the Leipzig Bach Museum free of charge within normal opening times, courtesy of the press team.
