It’s March, and march we will … so despite winter sickness and wacky weather we're marching forward to springtime, sunshine, warmer temps, better days and the beauty of March! Keep on marchin’ and march right out to hear some music listed below and say please say hello!
THE JUKES: Well, all you have to do is look at the tour dates below and you’ll see that The Jukes have a VERY busy month ahead. We’re goin’ to all kinds of places - Ohio, Chicago, Minneapolis, BB King in New York City, Sweden, Norway and Florida. Not much else to say about that except I hope to
see some of y’all along the way ….….
ETC: Before headin’ out on the road, I will be With The Jukes at legendary The Stone Pony part of an appearance on the great jazz station WBGO, when Southside Johnny is interviewed in support of Detour Ahead, his album of Billie Holiday songs. I will be there, as well as John Isley and the great bassist Steve Count, to play With Oria at Bar Thalia in NYC a few tunes from this great record. I’m unsure if it will be aired live or at a later date, but please keep checking my website, Facebook page and Twitter feed for all of the latest info about this, other news and tour dates … Well, in between the shows on the crowded Jukes schedule this month, I was able to book a date with Oria at a great new spot called Roosterspin in New Brunswick. We have so much fun playin’ together and I’m glad we were able to squeeze in a show … I’ll also be playin’ a private gig in New York City with my buddies in LaBamaba and the Hubcaps, which is always a crazy time .….….
SHADOWLAND: No Shadowland shows this month, but we are working very hard on recording and getting everything together for a new album. With everyone’s busy schedule it’s challenging to coordinate schedules, but we’re gettin’ it done and still have a target of a late spring release. There’s a lot of great new songs just waitin’ to be played, so watch out! .….….
