Breaking News Updates: WWOR broke into and/or preempted regularly scheduled programming on numerous occasions during the period covered by this report in order to bring its viewers breaking news or disaster information. This coverage included extended reporting on severe weather warnings, amber alerts, school closings, and other emergencies. A comprehensive list of cut‐ins and crawls is attached as Exhibit 1 c. Local News Stories: WWOR’s Investigative and Special Projects Unit (“I‐ Team”) dedicates itself to providing the public with important consumer stories as well as investigations that are aimed at assisting the public. Over the last few years, the dedication of this unit has provided its viewers with valuable information and resources that together have helped to protect and inform the community. Provided below are some important news stories that were aired during the report period: o Bad Contractor: During this report, a serially bad long Island contractor who has left homeowners in the lurch is exposed. As a result of the report, Suffolk county officials seized the contractor’s truck and equipment under a new law. The contractor was also sentenced to jail time. (Air Date: 9/30/05) o Text Spam: A channel 9 viewer contacted the station about concerns over receiving SPAM text messages.

    Access to Experts Josh Freed Senior Vice President, Clean Energy Program Third Way As the founder and leader of Third Way’s Clean Energy Program, Josh Freed promotes policies to use every tool possible to combat climate change—including scaled-up innovation, advanced nuclear, and carbon capture technologies in addition to the increased use of renewables and efficient storage. Since 2009, he has overseen Third Way’s clean energy and climate advocacy efforts, serving as the organization’s chief strategist on these issues. He regularly advises senior federal and state policymakers, philanthropies, academics, and business leaders. Under his leadership, his team’s accomplishments include Third Way’s groundbreaking research on advanced nuclear technology—which transformed federal support for nuclear innovation—and building new alliances to defend federal support for clean energy research and development. Josh regularly writes and speaks on climate, clean energy, and innovation issues, and his work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, National Journal, POLITICO, The Los Angeles Times and Wired. Prior to joining Third Way, Josh worked at the intersection of politics, advocacy, and policy, and technology as a Vice President at GMMB, where he advised the senior leadership of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He also served as the Chief Policy Advisor for Representative Rob Andrews and as Deputy Chief of Staff for Representative Diana DeGette. Josh earned his Master's from the University of Maryland, College Park and his Bachelor's degree from Brandeis University. I am fired up. Let me first of all acknowledge some extraordinary public servants who are in the house: Rob Andrews, our wonderful Congressman; Steve Rothman, another great Member of Congress; Gwen Faison, the Mayor of Camden. Thank you, Gwen. To all the other elected officials who are here, I am just glad to be back in Camden. When I was campaigning last year, I said I'd come back once I was President. I couldn't stay away. I like—I just like hanging out in New Jersey. I appreciate all of you who aren't at the Giants/Eagles game. [Laughter] I didn't mean to stir all that up, I'm sorry. All right, settle down now, settle down. Here's the reason I'm back. I am back because we are 2 days away—2 days away from making sure that New Jersey has the kind of quality leadership it deserves, two days away from making sure we're moving forward on education, two days away from making sure that we've got fairness in our economic system, two days away from reelecting Jon Corzine for another 4 years—2 days. Now, at this point in the campaign, you've heard all the arguments. You've seen all the TV ads. You know all the facts of this race. You know that Jon's running for reelection during a challenging time for New Jersey and a challenging time for America.

Robert E. Andrews 03-NJ), his authorized campaign conunittee, Rob Andrews U.S. House Committee, and Maureen Doherty, in her official capacity as treasurer, knowingly and willfully violated 2 U.S.C. § 439a(b)(2)(E) and 11 CF.R. § 113.1(g) by using campaign funds to subsidize the fledgling singing career of his daughter, Josie Andrews. In its November 30,2011 complaint, CREW alleged that Rep. Andrews repeatedly had used campaign funds tc pay for his daughter Josie to travel to Los Angeles to fiuther her career as an aspiring actress and singer, thereby violating 2 U.S.C. § 439a(b)(2) and 11 C.F.R. § 113.1(g). The Report disclosed that the Rob Andrews U.S. House Conunittee spent over $11,000 for two trips to Los Angeles in November 2011, including more than $7,000 for air&re, more than $3,000 for hotel rooms at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel, more than $l,SOO for limousines and more than $200 for meals.
