The Forerunners to the Blizzard were the Toronto Metros who joined the NASL in 1971. Today the Toronto Blizzard organization is back once again like a Phoenix ready to rise from the ashes of the past to e reborn once again to greatness This time the first teams to be created are for the Women's game with plans for the men's side to follow suit shortly. The Toronto Blizzard Team will be looking to start play in the summer of 2017 in League One Ontario soccer. League One is the PRO-AM (Professional Amateur) development Soccer League of Ontario and is considered the official division 3 soccer in North America. Look for many great things to happen with the Toronto Blizzard organization in the near future.
