Tenderers are invited for the whole of the design, supply, construction, erection and commissioning work for the proposed project stated as follows:

The Tender Documents are available to the public for viewing and purchase at the Tender Office, Level 1, North Wing, Menara Energy, No.1, The Isthmus 93050, , Sarawak, from Monday, 18th March 2019 until Wednesday, 17th April 2019.

Instruction to Tenderers: Mandatory Eligibility Requirement Tenderers shall possess adequate financial capability and meet the following criteria: 1) A Malaysian company. 2) Project work(s) value for the past two years of entity shall be more than RM 10 million. 3) Having successfully completed at least one 275kV or higher voltage transmission line of similar magnitude and complexity in the last ten (10) years. 4) Having experienced and adequate administrative, technical and site staff to complete the project in accordance with the Specification (particularly in stringing of conductor, optical fibre ground wire (OPGW), optical fibre underground communication cable (OFUC) and other necessary works to complete the Transmission Line Project). 5) To attend Tender Briefing held on Monday, 25th March 2019 and Site Visits held on Tuesday & Wednesday, 26th & 27th March 2019. Only Tenderers who have attended the Tender Briefing and Site Visits will be allowed to submit their tender proposals as attendance will be taken. Tenderers who failed to attend the Tender Briefing and Site Visits will be disqualified. It is recommended that Tenderers are represented by their authorized Technical Personnel for this Tender Briefing. 6) A Tender Offer may be submitted by a Consortium Tenderer, provided that members of Consortium Tenderer collectively satisfy the Eligibility Requirements as mentioned in item 1 to 5.

Interested Tenderers are required to produce evidence of fulfilling the above mentioned mandatory requirement when buying the tender documents.

The tender documents can be collected at the address as above at the following times:

Monday to Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

One set of the Tender Documents will be issued upon payment of a non-refundable document fee of in either bank draft or crossed cheque from a bank incorporated in Malaysia, made in the favour of Syarikat SESCO Berhad. Note: Sarawak Energy Berhad is not liable for the cost incurred by the Tenderer in preparing the tenders.
