Organized by the Romanian Academy, the “Babeş–Bolyai” University, the National Museum for the History of Transylvania and by the Patrimonium Transsylvanicum Society

Complementary Notes on the Program and the Conference

The program consists of two parts. The first one is a topical presentation of the structure of the lectures. The second part consists of the general program of the conference and of the time schedule of the lectures.

All lectures take place in the Central Building of the “Babeş–Bolyai” University, on the 1st and 2nd floors, in the lecture halls of the Faculties of Mathematics (Math. Hall 1, 2) and Physics (Phys. Hall 1, 2). Each one of them is equipped with power–point facilities.

Upon arrival, each participant will receive a map of the city and of the Central Building of the University, where supplementary signs and markings will be installed.

For easier and more direct immediate access to information regarding the location of the Central Building of the University (M. Kogălniceanu, 1) and the hotels (Hotel Victoria, 21 Decembrie, 54- 56; Hotel Universitas, Pandurilor, 7) You can use one of these online maps: http://www.cluj4all.com/navigator; http://www.hartionline.ro/cluj/harta/0.html

Each participant, travelling by plane or by train, will be awaited at the airport, respectively at the station, and taken to the hotel (Victoria Hotel and the Universitas Hotel of “Babeş–Bolyai” University). The participants travelling by car will receive instructions on how to arrive to the hotels or, upon request, we will be awaited in a parking at the city’s entrance.

The participants housed in the Universitas Hotel (10 minutes by car/ 25 minutes by foot away from the Central Building of the University) we be awaited each day by a special microbus which will taken them to the Central Building of the University and back.

The program for the 26th of October is subject to change, due to weather conditions. It is possible that the departure for (Vajdahunyad) will take place 1 hour earlier.
