TIFFANY MIDDLETON CREATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR WHDH-TV AND WLVI-TV, BOSTON
Tiffany Middleton was born and raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Her interest in television production began at the age of 16 when she signed up for a workshop at Haverhill Communi- ty Television studios. After volunteering at that station, she took a television production course at Haverhill High School, where she hosted newscasts and a teen-focused public access show called “What’s Up?” In 1992 she co-produced and co-hosted a special edition of “What’s Up?” with Tom Ber- geron that focused on the AIDS epidemic. The program won a national award from the Fed- eration of Local Cable Programmers, the first-ever national award won for a Haverhill Community TV production.
Tiffany graduated from Northeast School of Broadcasting in 1995. She began her professional television career in 1996 as a News Production Assistant working overnights at WHDH (Sunbeam Television’s NBC affiliate in Boston). Within a year she was working in the Creative Services Department as Pre-Production Coordinator, assisting with the production of on-air elements that give 7News its unique “look.” She became a Promotion Writer/ Producer for the station in 1998.
In 2000, Tiffany left WHDH to join Boston's CBS affiliate, WBZ-TV, where she worked as Sen- ior Promotions Writer/Producer. She returned to WHDH in 2008 as Promotions Manager, and on September 25, 2015 was named Creative Services Director for Sunbeam Television’s Boston duopoly, WHDH (7NBC) and WLVI (CW56).
Tiffany's work has garnered her more than a dozen Emmy nominations, 5 Emmy awards and a CBS Eye On Excellence award.
