LIFESTYLE & ENTERTAINMENT

Dallas is described as one of the most walkable large cities in the US. Most of the pedestrian-friendly areas in the city are near downtown and uptown. In the late 1990’s the importance of the pedestrian, bicyclist and those who use mass transportation began to be realized and most new developments cater to this. Walking trails and city parks were created and they greatly improve the local neighborhoods as well as 800 lane miles of cyclist-selected bike routes.
