Activity 2: Phonics game Week 12 – Thursday 2nd July Reminder of some reading strategies – If you get stuck with a word it’s not always helpful for your adult to read it to you. You should try it all by yourself before getting help. Today you are going to use these three strategies to help you figure out the secret words.

To read the secret word look at the first sound in the word (p) and then look at the picture and then think about what makes sense (parachute). The girls are running under a p@@@@@@@@. Week 12 – Thursday 2nd July

A Shark in the Park

Marvin and wet to the park on a bright day. The part was not far away so they didn’t need a car.

At the park the sun went kite and it started to get dark. At the far end of the park was a pond. When they looked in them saw a fin. There was a shark in the park! The shark had a lot of sharp tail and was swimming towards Marvin and Arthur.

They ran away as fast as I could.
