becomes a Citizen - friendly Corporation in future.

Inauguration of remodelled Bagha Jatin Maitree Sansad Jalashoy in Ward no-101 under Borough-XII :

On Sept.19,2018 with the inspiration of Hon'ble Chief Minister a remodelled and decorated with attractive lighting arrangement water body namely Bagha Jatin Maitree Sansad Jalasoy had been inaugurated by Hon'ble MMIC (Bustee Development and environment) Swapan Samaddar at Bagha jatin, Ward no.-101 under Borough-XII.

The programme was presided over by Councillor of ward no.-101 Bappaditya Dasgupta in honorable presence of Hon'ble MMIC ( Parks & Gardens, Parking, Sports and Advertisment) and distinguished guests.

This project is supported by Green City Mission.

Inauguration of Vivekananda Park and Children's Park at V.I.P Nagar, Ward no.-108. :

On Dec.11, 2018 Hon'ble Mayor inaugurated newly constructed Vivekananda Park and Children's Park at V.I.P Nagar in Ward no.-108 under Borough XII

The programme was presided over by Shyamal Banerjee, Councillor Ward No.-108 in honorable presence of MMIC ( Parks and Gardens, Parking, Sports, Advertisment) Debasish Kumar, Chairman Borough -XII Susanta Kumar Ghosh, officials of K.M.C and many other dignitaries.

Distribution of 35 newly constructed flats infront of the house of SARADA MA.

On Dec.22, 2018 with a view to the development of slum Dwellers infront of the house of SARADA MA, Hon'ble Mayor Firhad Hakim distributed 35 nos. of flats among proposed 300 nos. of flats to the slum dwellers through lottery.

The gracious occasion was attended by Hon'ble M.P. Sudip Banerjee, Hon'ble Minister of State Govt.of West Bengal Sashi Panja, Hon'ble MMIC Baiswanor Chatterjee and Swapan Samaddar , Chairman of Borough -I Tarun Saha, Swami Nityamuktananda ,President Ramkrishna Math Bagbazar, Swami Avinnananda, Project Co-ordinator , Ramkrishna Mission Bagbazar and other dignitaries .

The programme was presided over by Councillor of Ward no-07 Bapi Ghosh.

Pay & Use Toilet at Kendua More in ward no.-101 , Borough-XII :

With the inspiration of Hon'ble Chief Minister Govt. of West Bengal Mamata Bannerjee on Sept.19, 2018 Hon'ble MMIC (Bustee Development & Environment) Swapan Samaddar inaugurated a Pay & Use Toilet constructed by Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Kendua More , ward no.-101 under Borough -XII.

The programme was presided over by Hon'ble Councillor, Ward No.- 101 Bappaditya Dasgupata in gracious presence of Hon'ble MMIC (Parks & Gardens, Sports,Parking and Advertisment) Debasish Kumar, Hon'ble Chairman of Borough of -XII Susanta kr. Ghosh and other dignitaries.

Programme of vaccination and sterilization of stray Dogs and inauguration of Dog carriage Van :

On Sept.04, 2018 An initative of Health Department , Kolkata Municipal Corporation with the financial assistance from Animal Husbandry Department Govt. of West Bengal ,Hon'ble MMIC (Health) Atin Ghosh inaugurated a drive for sterilization and vaccination of street dogs in all 144 wards of the civic body. He also flagged off four Dog Carriage Vans at Charlie Chaplin Square on the same day.

Dignitaries present on the very occasion were Hon'ble MLA Debashree Roy , KMC officials and many others.

Inauguration of scientific compactor station in ward No -81.

On Dec.30, 2018 with a view to clean, green and vat free Kolkata city Hon'ble Mayor Firhad Hakim inaugurated a Modern scientific waste compactor station at Deshpran Shasmal Road, near Bhabani cinema in Ward No.-81 under Borough-X.

The programme was presided over by Councillor of Ward -81 Jui Biswas in presence of Hon'ble MIC (PWD, Department Youth Service and Sports) Aroop Biswas, Hon'ble MP , MMIC (SWM and TN) Debabrata Mazumdar, MMIC (Roads) Ratan Dey, Chairman of Borough -X Tapan Dasgupta and others.

Different cultural programmes organized by KMC Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Pandit Iswar ChandraVidyasagar

On Sept.26, 2018 the Learners of KMCP Schools celebrated 198th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. In order to pay homage to the legendary personality of India. The Learners of KMCP Schools participated in grand rally which was organized with photographs, flex, festoons depicting motivational quotes by Pandit Iswar Chandra . The rally starts from KMCP School at 27/1, Sashi Bhusan Dey Street to KMC Headquater, Esplanade.

Hon'ble MMIC(Education) Avijit Mukherjee, Hon'ble Chairperson Borough-V Aparajita Dasgupta, Hon'ble Councillor of Ward No.-50 Mousumi Dey, KMC officials and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

On another programme Hon'ble Chairperson KMC Mala Roy on behalf of KMC offered floral tribute to the statue of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar at Vidyasagar Uddyan(College Square) infront of University of Kolkata.

Annual Sports Meet Final 2018 : Annual Sports Meet Final, 2018 for the learners of KMCP Schools & SSK under Kolkata Municipal Corporation has successfully been completed on Dec.08, 2018 at Deshapriya Park, Kolkata. The programme was inaugurated by Janab Firhad Hakim, Hon'ble Mayor, Kolkata and Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge, Municipal Affairs and Urban Development Department,Govt.of West Bengal. Smt. Mala Roy, Hon'ble Chairperson, KMC was present as Chief Guest on that auspicious occasion. Sri Tarak Singh, Hon'ble MMIC (Drainage & Sewarage), Sri Debasish Kumar, Hon'ble MMIC (Parks & Gardens) and Baiswanar Chatterjee, Hon'ble MMIC (Housing,Gitanjali, Law, TPDD) were also present as special Guests. Sri Sandip Ranjan Bakshi Councillor, Ward No.-72 was present as Hon'ble Guest. Sri Avijit Mukherjee Hon'ble MMIC (Education) presided over the ceremony.

There were 28 no. of events like Race, High jump, Long jump, Gymnastic etc.More than 500 competitors both boys and girls belonging to different age group who have qualified in the Zonal-I & Zonal-II, Sports Meet, 2018 participated in the Final Sports Meet, 2018 to prove their abilities. About 5000 no. of spectators had witnessed the colorful event of the children.
