For sale and use in Australia and only. This Nintendo 3DS XL system is for use with European/Australian version Nintendo 3DS software only. Other versions of Nintendo 3DS software will not function on this Nintendo 3DS XL system. Only software titles that support the 3D feature will use the 3D display. All other titles, including Nintendo DS® / Nintendo DSi™ software titles, will be displayed in 2D. As the Nintendo 3DS XL system does not include a Game Pak slot (for Advance™ Game Paks), it is NOT compatible with any peripheral device which needs to be inserted into the Game Pak slot. This Nintendo 3DS XL system is intended to access the Nintendo eShop for Australia and New Zealand. Only Nintendo DSi compatible and Nintendo DSi titles purchased in Australia and New Zealand are for use with this Nintendo 3DS XL system.

The use of the 3D feature by children aged six and under may cause vision damage. Therefore it is recommended that: • Only children over six should use the system in 3D mode. • If children aged six and under have access to the system, parents or legal guardians should restrict the display of 3D images using the feature (page 78).

Note: 3D content will only be displayed on Nintendo 3DS software titles. Nintendo DS® / Nintendo DSi software titles cannot display 3D content.

The two cameras mounted on the exterior of the system are used to take 3D photos. Each camera takes one photo: the left camera takes one for the left eye, and the right camera for the right eye. These photos are then combined and appear in 3D on the 3D Screen (page 32).
