School Enrollment Accreditation Technology School Graduation Requirements Le Jardin Academy was founded in 1961. It is an Diploma: Minimum of 22 credits: independent co-educational school offering preschool 4 credits of English, 3 credits of Math, 3 credits of Science, through high school students a first class academic 3 credits of Social Studies, 2 credits of consecutive Foreign experience on the Windward side of Oahu. Language, 1 credit in Fine or Performing Art, 3 credits of Physical Education and 3 elective credits. 35 hours of Enrollment Com munity service and an extended essay Senior Year. Total enrollment is 800 students. The student body is an ethnically and culturally diverse population. Grading A =94-100 C =73-76 Our flagship year for the High School was 2002-2003. We A-=90-93 C-=70-72 began with an enrollment of fifty freshmen. Current B+=87-89 D+=67-69 enrollment includes 200 students in grades 9-12. Completion B =83-86 D =63-66 of our new buildings and projected enrollment of 400 B-=80-82 F =0-59 students is scheduled by 2014. C+=77-79 Accreditation Le Jardin Academy is accredited by the Western Association Grade Point Average and Ranking: of Schools and Colleges and the Hawaii Association of GPA is based on all grades earned by a student. GPA is Independent Schools. calculated on a 4.0 scale. For 2002-03 and 2003-04 school years, cumulative grade point average was calculated on the Technology Program final grade, either semester or year. For 2004-05 and beyond, Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum. Each cumulative GPA is calculated on semester grades. student leases a laptop computer equipped with a wireless internet connection for use in class and at home.     H AWA I‘I ROTARY YOUTH FOUNDATION 2018 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS $250,000 TO 48 STUDENTS $250,000 in college scholarships have been awarded to 48 Hawai‘i high school seniors in 2018. Forty-six students will receive scholarships for $5,000 each. The Maurice J. Sullivan Scholarship for $10,000 was awarded to Wailana Medeiros from Konawaena High School, Hawai‘i. The Joanna L. Sullivan Scholarship for $10,000 was awarded to Nikki Zamani from La¯haina¯luna High School, Maui. These students were interviewed and chosen by the Rotary Clubs in Hawai‘i. The scholarships are made possible by donations from Rotarians, Rotary Clubs, individuals, and Hawai‘i Rotary Youth Foundation investments. The interest from the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Grant funded three $5,000 scholarships which were awarded to Malakai Lurker from Kea‘au High School, Zanira Musa from Hawai‘i Academy of Arts and Science and Chaz Tanoue from Mid-Pacific Institute.
