YANGON, 10 Feb—The inauguration of Nanattaw Overpass constructed by the Myanma Railways under the Ministry for Rail Transportation took place as a gesture of hailing the 58th Anniversary Union Day at the top of the facility at the junction of Baho and Nanattaw streets in Kamayut Township here this morn- ing. Present on the occasion were Yangon Division Peace and Development Council Chairman Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Myint Swe, Minis- ter for Agriculture and Irrigation Maj-Gen Htay Oo, Minister for Finance and Revenue Maj-Gen Hla Tun, Minister for Cooperatives Col Zaw Min, Minister for Forestry Brig-Gen Thein Aung, Minister for Rail Transportation Maj-Gen Aung Min, Minister for In- formation Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan, Minister for Trans- port Maj-Gen Thein Swe, Minister for Energy Brig- Gen Lun Thi, Yangon City Development Committee Chairman Yangon Mayor Brig-Gen Aung Thein Lin, Deputy Minister for Rail Transportation U Pe Than, Commander Maj-Gen Myint Swe, Minister for Rail Transportation Maj-Gen Aung Min and Mayor Vice-Mayor Col Maung Pa, Managing Director of Brig-Gen Aung Thein Lin open Nanattaw Overpass.— MNA MR U Min Swe, departmental heads, officials, local authorities, locals and guests numbering more than 6,000.
