You see the Tri-angle is mainly funded by its Commercial Advertising and it is imperative that we ensure that our new and regular advertisers know how much to pay, when and to whom. Without this element, we cannot afford to print the magazine and consequently your community news and voluntary or charity group adverts. All the roles that keep the Tri-angle going are voluntary and the Advertising Editor’s role is no different. It requires a few hours a week, (but not necessarily in one go) you would need to be on the phone (that would need to be published in the magazine) and have an email address(this wouldn’t need publishing in the magazine). Any out of pocket expenses would be met by the magazine. We also need distributors. Our conscientious distributors are invaluable, and without them you wouldn’t receive your magazine each month. We really need more volunteers to help deliver the Tri-angle, especially in the Waddingham area , from the end of February. We are holding a crisis meeting on MONDAY 25TH FEBRUARY 2013 IN THE COMMITTEE ROOM WADDINGHAM VILLAGE HALL 7PM ! PLEASE THINK ABOUT HELPING US ! TO ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THE TRI-ANGLE (If you think you can help but cannot attend the meeting please phone or email Ros or Sheila) WADDINGHAM PHOTO APPEAL Do you have any OLD photographs that could be used in a Waddingham history booklet? We are looking for family photos of local people and local events and business etc. For example: - The blacksmith, the forge and horses The old joiner’s shop (and joiner) The bakery and miller The draper’s shop and owner The old school and pupils The cycle shop The general store Local properties and homes All pictures would be carefully copied and returned. Please contact Sophie Smurthwaite on tel 01673 818632 The Waddingham Calendar has now raised £400, thanks to all who purchased one. A few remaining calendars are now on sale at £3 each from Sophie Smurthwaite (818632), the Post Office or the Marquis of Granby.
