Sponsor File Background International Diving Congress Portugal - Oct. 2021, 8 to 10 SPONSOR FILE BACKGROUND Portugal won in 2019 for the third consecutive year, the “World´s Leading Destination” award by WTA. Portugal has a mild climate, 300 sunshine days per year, a vast coastline to the Atlantic Ocean (with over 1200 km extension), hundreds of beautiful beaches, and an Exclusive Economic Zone (maritime domain) with almost two million square kilometres. These attributes are reasons why diving is fantastic, and yet, there is so much to discover. Portugal offers perfect conditions for diving; it is possible to dive all year round, excellent infrastructure for recreational and technical diving, from caves to wrecks and deep diving. Information about Portugal visitportugal.com Information about diving in Portugal portugaldive.com Follow Diving Talks route to 2021 on social media WHAT ARE DIVING TALKS? DIVING TALKS 2021, originally was the idea of a group of divers that travel and attend dive conferences around the world, wanting to bring Portugal a quality event with higher experience. – We live in a connected world, anything you do gets exponentially amplified by the power of social networks; – Social networks are tools to share with the community the pleasure you have diving; It is strange, though, that the first recommendation you get on any conference is not to film, photograph and subsequently share, what you are about to see. Diving Talks is talking about diving, talking is an expression of communication, communicating is sharing; so let’s talk about diving, and share the talks!
