The preschool is an educational program staffed by professional teachers. Please read this handbook over before you begin working here.This handbook has been written to orient you to the preschool program and to provide you with the staff policies and procedures. It is important for you to be aware of these policies. The administration of the preschool reserves the right to modify or amend this handbook and its policies at any time. It was one of the first campus child care programs in the Massachusetts State University system. The name was changed to the preschool program in 1996. As a member of the National Coalition for Campus Children’s Centers and a founding member of the Massachusetts Campus Children’s Center Coalition, the Salem State University preschool program is active in the child care and early childhood
