NOCA Scotties Begins Wednesday in Timmins Media Advisory Northern Ontario Women Compete in Scotties Provincial This Week January 18, 2016 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Event: NOCA Scotties Provincial Championship Dates: Wednesday, January 20 to Sunday, January 24, 2016 Venue: McIntyre Curling Club, Timmins, ON Draw Times: Wednesday: 7:30 pm Thursday: 1:30 pm, 7:30 pm Friday: 2:30 pm, 7:30 pm Saturday: 9:30 am, 2:30 pm and/or 7:30 pm (tiebreaker(s)) Sunday: 10:00 am - FINAL See attached draw for schedule with tiebreakers Details: Four Women’s teams are entered in this weekend’s competition in Timmins and will play a double round robin to a final game. This is the second year that will see the winning team have the opportunity to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
