Position: Digital Marketing Specialist Reports To: Director of Marketing and Communications
Summary: Develops and implements successful digital marketing, multimedia and audience development campaigns that reinforce the organization’s branding standards and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Assists Directors in developing overall digital content strategy. Implements digital content strategy, manages content calendars, reports on metrics and makes recommendations for campaign optimization. Manages web CMS, social media accounts and services. Works with multiple departments to develop compelling content, stories and promotions. Assists Directors and Agency with planning, management and reporting on digital advertising campaigns. Researches and recommends best practices/platforms for digital marketing opportunities. Edits and schedules outbound email marketing campaigns and internal newsletters. Manages and updates online calendars, event listings and audience surveys. Attends functions, events and performances to provide support as needed. Assists marketing and public relations team with misc. projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3‐5 years professional digital marketing experience; experience in an agency setting a plus. Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a solid portfolio of persuasive, engaging writing in a variety of formats and styles. Superior working knowledge of HTML, CSS and general web editing tools required. Graphic design skills a plus. High proficiency with data analysis and reporting. Demonstrates high proficiency and knowledge of software including (but not limited to): Mac, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, all major social media platforms. Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and high capacity for translating audience data and trends into actionable content plans. Proficient media editing skills and knowledge of Final Cut Pro X a plus. Proactive, well‐organized and deadline oriented with the ability to multi‐task and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal, communications and customer service skills. Must interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
