Position: Digital Specialist Reports To: Director of Marketing and Communications

Summary: Develops and implements successful , multimedia and audience development campaigns that reinforce the organization’s branding standards and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

 Assists Directors in developing overall strategy.  Implements digital content strategy, manages content calendars, reports on metrics and makes recommendations for campaign optimization.  Manages web CMS, accounts and services.  Works with multiple departments to develop compelling content, stories and promotions.  Assists Directors and Agency with planning, management and reporting on digital campaigns.  Researches and recommends best practices/platforms for digital marketing opportunities.  Edits and schedules outbound campaigns and internal newsletters.  Manages and updates online calendars, event listings and audience surveys.  Attends functions, events and performances to provide support as needed.  Assists marketing and team with misc. projects as needed.

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree and at least 3‐5 years professional digital marketing experience; experience in an agency setting a plus.  Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a solid portfolio of persuasive, engaging writing in a variety of formats and styles.  Superior working knowledge of HTML, CSS and general web editing tools required. Graphic design skills a plus.  High proficiency with data analysis and reporting.  Demonstrates high proficiency and knowledge of software including (but not limited to): Mac, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, all major social media platforms.  Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and high capacity for translating audience data and trends into actionable content plans.  Proficient media editing skills and knowledge of Final Cut Pro X a plus.  Proactive, well‐organized and deadline oriented with the ability to multi‐task and adapt to changing priorities.  Excellent interpersonal, communications and customer service skills. Must interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
