The web portal aims to ensure transparency as well as accelerate household electrification in rural as well as urban areas in the country. Nagaland became the first among the North Eastern states to launch Point of Sale (PoS) for electricity bill payment. NATIONAL ICDS-Approval The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the PM has approved four sub-schemes under Umbrella Scheme Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). The approved Schemes include, Anganwadi Services Scheme for Adolescent Girls (also Known as sabla) Child Protection Services National Crèche Scheme The decision also provides for conversion of National Crèche Scheme from Central Sector to Centrally Sponsored Scheme. National Creche Scheme aims at providing safe place for mothers to leave their children while they are at work. ICDS Scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme implemented by states/UTs. It was launched on 2nd October 1975. MoU between India and Poland The Union Cabinet chaired by the PM has given its approval for signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Poland for the Promotion of Civil Aviation Cooperation. The MoU will be for a term of five years and it will provide support in the civil aviation market by reviewing any legal and procedural issues which may adversely affect cooperation between India and Poland.
