Dr. Edward Marlatt, past President of the Boonton Historical Society & Museum and native Boontonian, will give a presentation and discussion of the Civil Engineer and master bridge builder Othmar Amman (1879-1965), who designed and erected six major bridges in : George Washington, Bayonne, Tri-borough, Bronx-Whitestone, Throgs Neck, and Verrazano-Narrows.

Mr. Ammann was a resident of Boonton for almost 40 years, and the new reservoir bridge connecting Boonton to Parsippany bears his name.

The program will include Boonton Trivia & Tales, a segment about memorable people and events of the town.
