Description of the trail

Milton Damerel is a collection of hamlets in the north of Ruby Country. The main village point is located onthe A388 to road, about 5 miles from Holsworthy.

Parking: There is a parking area on the opposite side of the road to the village hall.

Walk overview: This walk uses public rights of way, tracks and quiet country roads, passing through this beautiful part of Ruby Country. There are some stiles and some sections can become soft and muddy after wet weather. Please wear appropriate footwear..

To start the walk, park in the parking area opposite Milton Damerel Parish Hall. Turn right uphill keeping the Parish Hall on the left. When the road bends sharply to the right take the footpath over the stile on the left. Cross the stile into a field and head towards a gateway roughly half way along the hedge. Go through the gate, turn left, and head to the bottom of the field keeping the hedge on the left. Follow the narrow path which will lead to a wooden foot bridge. This pathway may be muddy and soft following wet weather. Pass through a gate into a field and head across this field heading towards a white house visible ahead. Go to the right of the house and cross a stile.
