The County Council (Kirk Hill, Kneeton Road, Main Street and Trent Lane, East Bridgford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Traffic Regulation Order 2019 (8287)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at East Bridgford in the Borough of : -

1. Vehicles will be prohibited from waiting at any time along: -

KIRK HILL, EAST BRIDGFORD (the north-west side) – From its junction with Trent Lane in a south-westerly direction for 21 metres KIRK HILL, EAST BRIDGFORD (the south-east side) – From the centre line of its junction with Main Street in a south- westerly direction for 20 metres KNEETON ROAD, EAST BRIDGFORD (the north-west side) – From its junction with Trent Lane in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres KNEETON ROAD, EAST BRIDGFORD (the south-east side) - From its junction with Main Street in a north-easterly direction for 12 metres MAIN STREET, EAST BRIDGFORD (the north-east side) - From its junction with Kneeton Road in a south-easterly direction for 17 metres MAIN STREET, EAST BRIDGFORD (the south-west side) - From its junction with Kirk Hill in a south-easterly direction for 28 metres TRENT LANE, EAST BRIDGFORD (the north-east side) - From its junction with Keeton Road in a north-westerly direction for 12 metres TRENT LANE, EAST BRIDGFORD (the south-west side) - From its junction with Kirk Hill in a north-westerly direction for 12 metres

2. Other restrictions: - Bus Stop Clearway – No Stopping, except Buses At Any time

MAIN STREET, EAST BRIDGFORD (north-east side) Bus Stop RU 0693 – from a point 76 metres south-east of its junction with Kneeton Road in a south-easterly direction for 19 metres (south-west side) Bus Stop RU0051 – from a point 56 metres south-east of its junction with Kirk Hill in a south-easterly direction for 19 metres

Written comments / objections (stating grounds and quoting ref. 8287 ) must be received by me by 22 nd November 2019.

The provisions are required to improve safety by preventing vehicles parking obstructively at this junction, enabling larger vehicles to navigate the junction more easily.
