Through this participation, the ITA seeks to introduce the projects and initiatives contributing to the development of the digital society; encourage the application of the eGovernment concept; and, disseminate a culture of technology among individuals of the society in general, and Festival visitors in particular. This consequently leads to highlighting the progress achieved by the Sultanate in the field of eGovernment services.

The e.lifestyle Fair at Qurm Natural Park offers many features. At the e.oman pavilion, the ITA introduces the Digital Oman Strategy, or e.oman for short, and the projects and initiatives currently being carried out. Current e.oman projects target both citizens and residents with a view to implementing and delivering electronic services. For example, all can avail of and benefit from existing electronic portals such as the Official eGovernment Services Portal, ePayment Gateway, and the Donations Portal for Charitable Organizations. There is an area within the e.oman pavilion whereby visitors can gain practical experience with the portals using on-site computers with Internet access. more
