An essential element to the success of these consensus-driven discussions is the background report that is provided to all participants before the Town Hall convenes. Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona coordinated this informative background material, creating a unique resource for a full understanding of the topic. For sharing their wealth of knowledge and professional talents, our thanks go to the editors and authors who contributed to the report. Our deepest gratitude also goes to the Arizona Board of Regents, who made great efforts to ensure that Arizona’s public universities could provide this type of resource to Arizona. The 107th Town Hall could not occur without the financial assistance of our generous Professional Partners, which include Premier Partner APS; Executive Partner SRP; Collaborator Partners Arizona Lottery and Freeport-McMoRan; Civic Leader Partners AECOM, The Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice, AZ Water Association, Central Arizona Project, EPCOR , Jennings, Strouss & Salmon PLC, The Nature Conservancy and Resolution Copper Mining; and Contributor Partner Arizona Cotton Growers Association. The consensus recommendations that were developed during the course of the 107th Town Hall have been combined with the background report into this single final report that will be shared with public officials, community and business leaders, Arizona Town Hall members and many others. This report, containing the thoughtful recommendations of the 107th Town Hall participants, is already being used as a resource, a discussion guide and an action plan to ensure that we meet Arizona’s current and future water needs.
