Your professional résumé should be more than a list of the jobs and activities you have done. Regardless of the head- ings you use (“Experience” or other), you should provide relevant and thorough (yet concise) explanations of what you did in each setting. These definitions should always start with strong verbs, and you should avoid repeating those verbs. We have provided a list of action verbs to as- sist you. In addition, a thesaurus always comes in handy! In 3 each bullet point, focus on what you do (or did), not what the organization does.
