Clare County Council, the Heritage Council and Clare Heritage Forum wish to thank all the individuals and community groups who are taking part and facilitating events during Heritage Week in Clare in 2013. Particularly to acknowledge the great work done by individuals and groups with an interest in all aspects of Heritage in the County.

Heritage Week is co-ordinated by the Heritage Council with support from the Department of Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht & Fáilte . It is part of European Heritage Days, a joint initiative of the Council of Europe & the European Union.

The aim of Heritage Week is to build awareness of our built, natural & cultural heritage thereby encouraging its conservation and preservation.

Exhibition of the Canon Dwyer Collection
