The Legitimacy of Cursing and Insulting in Sunnis' Viewpoint The legitimacy of cursing and insulting in Sunnis’ viewpoint Introduction and Meaning of Curse: Introduction: Sunni Scholar‟s Words about Shiites and Insulting the Companions: Ibne Timiya: Ihsan Ilahi Zahir: Dr. Nasir Al Qafari: Dr. Mustafa Hilmi: Dr. Muhammad Amhazun: Dr. Qalib Awaji: Bin Jabarin‟s Fatwa about blasphemy of Shiites: Sheikh Adil Kalbani: Sunnis‟ View about the One Who Insults the Companions: Insulting the companions is a clearly forbidden act and is a great sin Insulting the companions excludes one from the religion Do not touch body of the one who insults the companions Quoting a tradition from one who insults the companions is forbidden 1 The one who insults the companions does not have the right to use Fei (a special kind of trophy of war) The one who thinks that the companions should be insulted must be burned The one who insults the companions is sentenced to be executed or Ta‟zir (that is a corporal punishment) The insulter of the companions must be killed The one who insults the two Sheikhs (Abubakr and Omar) and Hassanain (Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein) should be killed The one who insults the two Sheikhs (Abubakr and Omar) should be killed and his repentance should not be accepted The one who insults the two Sheikhs (Abubakr and Omar) or anyone who has been promised the Paradise should be killed The one who insults Abubakr and Omar should be whipped and the one who insults Mothers of Believers should be killed Using insulting the Khalifas and companions as an excuse for a Fatwa to kill Shiites and occupying their assets Anyone who kills a heretic (which refers to Shiites) who insulted Abubakr and Omar will go to the Paradise Continuation of this attack until the present time Double Standard! AL-ADWA 41:29 1 The Campaigns of the Prophet The Campaigns of the Prophet and Execution of POWs Atiq ur Rahman* Zia ur Rahman** The Holy Quran neither gives orders relating to the execution of the captives and nor it shows any justification in this regard. The companions of were not in the favour of the execution of prisoners (ﷺ) the Holy Prophet the ,(ﷺ) of Holy Prophet ر( یض ا ہلل عنہ) of war. Out of the companions expositor (Mufasir) of Quran Hazarat Ibn-e-Abbas judged this act as was against the execution of war ر( یض ا ہلل عنہ) illegal(1). Not only Abbas (ﷺ) captives but there is consensus of Sahaba () of the Holy Prophet that the killing of prisoner of war is not legal(2). Most of the mufasireen are also not in favour of execution of the prisoners, these include the names like Hassan, Ata, Ibn-e-Sireen and Mujahid.(3) But on the other hand, during the we find some examples which show that the (ﷺ) era of the Holy Prophet teachings of Islam has kept the option of execution of captives according to the need of circumstances. If the numbers are counted with references from books of Hadith and books of Seerat, there are at maximum ten such people who were practically killed as the prisoners of war, under the decree of and the given numbers only occur when the levels of the (ﷺ) Holy Prophet authenticity of related references are not kept in mind. In other words, the number reached to ten only if the infirm references are also added alongside the correct and authentic references from the stock of books of Hadith and Seerat.

Publicado en Al-Islam.org (https://www.al-islam.org) Inicio > Inquiries About Shi'a Islam > Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib > Who are the Twelve Leaders? Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib The Noble Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad specifically refer to the leadership of Imam ‘Ali after the Prophet in several incidents. Ghadir Khum This incident took place on the 18th of Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth month of theu Islamic calendar, and has been narrated by 110 companions of the Prophet, 84 members of the following generation (the tabi΄in), and 360 Muslim scholars from all schools of thought. Prophet Muhammad and approximately 114,000 of his companions had performed the farewell Hajj (pilgrimage) and were returning home. That year, during the Hajj, the weather was very hot with the blazing sun taking its toll on the pilgrims. When the Prophet arrived at Ghadir Khum, a marshland crossroads from which all the Muslims from different lands would part on their own ways, the Prophet stopped the caravan at noontime, and waited for those who were behind to arrive and called upon those who had gone ahead to return, for he had received a revelation from Allah which he had to deliver to the people. The revelation read, “O Messenger! Declare what has been revealed to you from Your Lord, and if you do not, then your mission will not have been fully declared, and Allah will protect you from the harm of the people.”1 Then the Prophet spoke a bit before asking the assembly whether he truly had authority over them or not.

  • Islam Forbids Same Gender Marriages Introduction: There Is Simply No Ordinance in the Holy Qur’An Allowing Same Gender Marriage
Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem Islam Forbids Same Gender Marriages Introduction: There is simply no Ordinance in the Holy Qur’an allowing same gender marriage. Islam, through revealed Ordinances, in the Holy Qur’an, forbids same gender marriage. Further, Islam also forbids any description of immorality between two persons of the same gender. The Ordinances have also been supported by quotations of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in all of the six leading Hadith1. Almighty God has made men and women as paired for procreation and the laws of Almighty God must never be breached for sake of sinful lust between two persons of same gender. Islam is clear in its prohibition of homosexual acts. Islamic scholars cite these reasons for condemning homosexuality, based on teachings of the Holy Qur'an and Hadith: It clashes with the "natural" order in which Almighty God created human beings. Further, it brings destruction to the family and the institutions of marriage. Furthermore, it leads people to ignore Almighty God's guidance in other areas of life. In some countries, a few of their leading politicians are leading the charge to amend their countries’ laws to allow same gender marriages. Marriage between persons of the same gender is becoming so widespread in modern societies that some countries are in the process of amendments to their country’s national Constitution. Islam forbids same gender marriages, regardless of country. Discussion: 1) The Holy Qur’an makes clear to mankind that Almighty God created humanity to continue to procreate in opposite gender pairs, through the process of marriages. Pairing means that both male and female have same type of souls; but only the material human body has gender differences; and this fact became operational with Adam and Eve, then subsequently downstream to wider humanity.
