August Wellness Challenge

In honor of August being National Wellness Month, the Gathering Place celebrated with a fun set of challenges and activities! Each week throughout the month of August, members had the opportunity to participate in an assigned challenge. We focused on 4 different types of wellness this month: nutrition, intelligence, fitness, and social.

Week Theme Challenge August 4- 10th: Nutrition Challenge Week- Eat at least 1 fruit and/or veggie per day August 11-17th: Intelligence Challenge Week- Learn 5 new things everyday August 18-24th: Fitness Challenge Week- Get active for 10-15 minutes per day August 25-31st: Social Challenge Week- Compliment 2 people everyday
