Formed in 1994, the clean and safe programs were developed to provide supplemental services to public areas located within the Downtown Special Services District. Many cities around the world have implemented clean and safe programs to augment services already being provided within their own Business Improvement District (BID). Tampa’s programs have been used as exemplary standards by other downtowns as far away as the United Kingdom.

The mission is simple… provide a cleaner, safer, and more friendly environment for workers, residents, and visitors to the area. Zumba in the Park
