HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 30

1 A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING COACH LESLIE 2 FRAZIER UPON HIS PROMOTION TO THE POSITION OF OF THE 3 FOOTBALL TEAM. 4 WHEREAS, , a proud native of Columbus, 5 Mississippi, and former Assistant Head Coach and Defensive 6 Coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings has been promoted to the

7 position of Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings; and

8 WHEREAS, this distinguished appointment makes Coach Leslie 9 Frazier the eighth coach in the Vikings' team history; and 10 WHEREAS, , the Vikings' owner, stated "We are 11 thrilled that Leslie Frazier will continue to lead this football 12 team."; and 13 WHEREAS, the Wilf family has continually shown dedication to 14 building a world-class football organization, and Coach Frazier's 15 promotion as head coach is evidence of the family's dedication to

16 that cause; and 17 WHEREAS, Coach Frazier took the helm of the team mid-season 18 for the fired , and led the team to a 3-3 record 19 despite the Metrodome collapse, an injured and one of 20 the most eventful off-the-field seasons in history; and 21 WHEREAS, before joining the Vikings, Frazier was an assistant 22 coach under from 2005-2007, played for the 23 from 1981 to 1986 and won a in 1985; and

30 new Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings Football Team. 31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be 32 furnished to Coach Frazier and to the members of the Capitol Press 33 Corps.
