Oceaneering’s 185 ft DSV Ocean Project is ideally suited to support Gulf of Mexico offshore construction or maintenance and repair projects. The vessel was upgraded during 2003. A 4-point mooring system with 11,000 lb anchors and 1.25 in x 6,000 ft wire creates a very stable platform for completing work tasks. All anchor wires and fair leads are covered. Exposed wires are enclosed and have pneumatic level winders to remove potential pinch points and ensure a safer work environment for vessel personnel. In addition to the crew quarters, the vessel accommodates 27 persons, allowing 24-hour diving capabilities.
