Performance Measurement Plan (PfMP) – Final Report | Smart Columbus Program | i Abstract This Performance Measurement Plan describes the outcomes of Smart Columbus and how the objectives of each of projects relate to them. The plan identifies and explains the methodology proposed to evaluate the indicators for each project, which will provide insight into the performance of a project in meeting the objectives. The plan also describes the data necessary to evaluate the objectives and the required reporting frequency and contents. The responsibilities and types of interactions between the City of Columbus and an independent evaluator are also described. -

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presented a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to Columbus Metropolitan Library, Ohio for its annual budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2013. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device. The award is valid for a period of one year only. We believe our current budget continues to conform to program requirements, and we are submitting it to GFOA to determine its eligibility for another award. Library Park Apartments Development Request for Qualifications - CML #16-011 The Columbus Metropolitan Library (“CML”) and the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation (“CDDC”) are inviting developers to respond to this Request for Proposal (“RFQ”) to develop a residential/retail site on Grant Avenue adjacent to the Main Library and Topiary Park in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is the intention of this RFQ to solicit responses that will be used to identify a short list of the best-qualified developers to provide proposals for the project. Responses are due on September 2nd at noon. The Columbus Metropolitan Library Columbus Metropolitan Library has served the people of Franklin County, Ohio for 143 years. With its Main Library and 22 branches, CML is well known for signature services and programs like Homework Help Centers, Reading Buddies, Summer Reading Club and Ready for Kindergarten. The library’s Strategic Plan supports the vision of “a thriving community where wisdom prevails,” which positions CML to respond to areas of urgent need: kids unprepared for kindergarten, third grade reading proficiency, high school graduation, college readiness and employment resources.
