THIRD SEASON THE UNDISPUTED KINGS THE LEE FILE • Eastern New Mexico strengthened it’s grip as the nation’s top rushing EDUCATION offense and has averaged 426.8 yards per game through the first four College: Western New Mexico, 2000 (Bachelors) contests of the season. The Hounds are one of ENMU 3 seasons 16-9 11-7 three teams to enter the fifth week of the season with a conference record of 1-1, while Angelo State and Tarleton State are each undefeated with a record of 2-0. • Eastern will take on Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas on Saturday night and then will return home against Tarleton State in two games that will prove vital in how the conference standings will stand at the midway point of the season. SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS • Midwestern State fell down to the receiving votes categories in the AFCA Division II National Polls this week after a 28-6 loss on the road against Angelo State last week. The Mustangs began their season with a 33-7 win over FCS foe Northwestern State (La.), but struggled in one- possession wins over Lindenwood (Mo.) and UT Permian Basin before last week’s loss at Angelo State.
