Considerations:

Vampires, lycantropes and any kind of undeads are conditions or "diseases" and not actual species since one must be contaminated in order to become one.

True dragons always have six limbs, two of them being wings. Drakes is a term used to generally describe lesser or young dragons (such or wingless dragons) and wyverns for any biped dragon, but true drakes are winged four-limbed biped elemental dragons, closely related to de non-elemental true wyverns. Wingless four-limbed dragon may be referred to as in general, specially the "lizard-like" ones. Wyrms (or worms or wurms) are limbless, usually subterraneous, dragons. Sea serpents (or leviathan) while are usually limbless, but descend from the water "long dragons", therefore don't belong in the limbless dragons family. True-dragons, wyverns and drakes are naturally attracted to shiny objects, like , and collect huge quantities of them to decorate their nests.

About dragon evolution: modern dragons descend from european dragons, they evolved alongside dinosaurs but not from them. Inside , some dragons evolved into smaller creatures such as basilisks or drakes and wyverns while another branch evolved in a similar fashion that lizards to snakes, losing all its limbs, becoming wyrms; many of these also migrated through western Asia and northern africa . Other very important and old branch in dragon evolution is the serpentine dragons; these european dragons started fishing and swimming until they became fully aquatic animals (like whales, they don't breath underwater) at first around the Atlantic Ocean, often called . Those spread farther, reaching South America and the eastern coast of Asia; many species of oriental dragons eventually went back to land and most still have a elongated body; some species lost its limbs but are not considered wyrms.

Gnoll and kobold are are synonymous, they are used to define human-like biped animals (any anthropomorphic animal), though they usually can speak one or two languages and may be fairly civilized, they are not closely related to humans. Gnoll is more frequently used canine-like species and kobold for lizard-like species. With that description, species like the non-merfolk fish-people, bird-people and others, could also be called gnolls or kobolds, but its uncommon.

While harpies could be considered birds at first glance, like the merfolk they evolved from sirens, but are much more aggressive and lost several human-like attributes.

Kaijus, "strange beasts", are any gigantic proportions species when compared to its closest related species. If the whole family or order is usually large (like with most dragons, dinosaurs and whales), these are not normally called kaijus. Huge creatures are often dire, giant or atrox, but kaijus are significantly bigger.

Everything here classified is non-magic based, even creatures with elemental attributes (such as electricity, fire or ice) have developed an anatomy for producing these elemental processes or actions (like a "fire breath"), so they don't summon the element out of nothing, or through mana or magic. Also no creature here is "a wizard did it" or is considered demoniac, heavenly, otherworldly or extra-dimensional in any way, or they probably wouldn't be classified among the earthlings, unless they had some common ancestor.
