Prerequisites and Requirements Bachelor / Master graduates with 2 years working experience, who are still employed at the time of application.
Offered only for certain study programmes and universities.
The latest degree is obtained not more than 6 years
International TOEFL with a minimum score of 80 (iBT) or IELTS 6.0 (depends on study programme)
Candidates should prove their motivation which is development-related and expected to take on social responsibility and initiate and support processes of change in their personal and professional environment after their course/scholarship

10 DAAD-Scholarships Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG)
Target group: applicants with a first degree in law, politics, economics, social sciences or administration
Degree aimed: Master degree in the following study programmes
- Development & Governance: University Duisburg Essen - Public Policy: Hertie School of Governance Berlin, Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt, Universität Passau - Management in non-profit Organisations: Hochschule Osnabrück - Democratic Governance and Civil Society: Universität Osnabrück - Public Economics, Law and Politics: Leuphana Universität Lüneburg - Master of Public: Management in Universität Potsdam
iBT TOEFL : minimum 80 or IELTS min. 6.5 (Please check directly to the respective Universities)
Application Periode: from June 1st 2015 to July 31st 2015
11 DAAD-Scholarships Sustainable Water Management (NaWaM)
Target group: graduates from Engineering or Natural Sciences subjects Master Degree with the following study programmes :
- Hydro Science and Engineering in Technical University Dresden - Water Resources and Environmental Management in Leibniz University Hannover - Water Resources Engineering and Management in University of Stuttgart - Water Science in University of Duisburg-Essen
Doctoral candidates must obtain written confirmation of academic supervision by a professor in Germany
Working experience is a priority International TOEFL : minimum 80 or IELTS min. 6.0 Application period: Approx. from July 2015 to November 2015 (Please send your application before the Deadline)
12 DAAD-Scholarships Sustainable Water Management (NaWaM)
For doctoral degree:
The candidates choose their host university and supervisor at any university in Germany by themselves
Presentation of the planned doctoral project (3 pages max.)
Confirmation of supervision by a scientist from a German University/Higher Education Institution
A 3-years Work Plan and Schedule (Agreed by the German supervisor)
Support includes monthly payment, annual study, insurance, research allowance, outward and return tickets as well as for field work in the home country.

. Target: lecturers from public and private universities, researchers from public / state-run research institutions; public employees with a minimum of two years work experience . No age limit! . Enrolled at a doctoral program in Indonesia . Master degree is obtained maximum last 6 years . Minimum GPA: 3,00 (out of 4), TOEFL minimum IBT 80/ IELTS 6,0 . Research is conducted in Germany (no more than two years) . Research proposal must be agreed by the German and Indonesian supervisors
