HALPAC 2018

Dear Members:

As we start a new year, we would like to thank you for your support of the Halliburton Political Action Committee (HALPAC). With your participation, HALPAC contributes to candidates for election who understand the issues important to our company and industry. During 2018’s competitive election cycle, HALPAC made $561,650 in contributions to 129 candidates and six federal leadership PACs.

As we head into the 2020 elections, HALPAC will continue to identify and support those elected officials who can bring positive changes to the legislative process. 2020 is a presidential election year, and with much at stake, we must continue to engage in the process that shapes the climate in which we do business by identifying and supporting candidates at all levels, many of whom are already starting up their campaigns. With your participation, HALPAC will have a strong, united voice in the political sphere.

Please take the time to find out more about HALPAC’s activities during the 2018 election cycle in this annual report. Our PAC remains not just an important part of our Government Affairs program, but it is an essential part of our company’s public policy agenda. We look forward to working with you this year and building on HALPAC’s progress and success as we strengthen our collective voice.

Sincerely,

The HALPAC Board of Directors

Halliburton values the contributions of its employees, not only to HALPAC but also to the communities where we live and work. To help our employees make the most of their contributions, Halliburton offers PAC-MATCH, a matching gift program. For every $100 or more that you contribute to HALPAC, Halliburton will match that amount, dollar for dollar, and donate it in your name to a nonprofit organization of your choice. Over the last several years, as the generosity of our employees has grown through HALPAC, so has our charitable giving. Our charitable contributions extend to hundreds of organizations including churches, schools and research centers all aimed at improving the lives of those less fortunate.

The HALPAC Board encourages all HALPAC members to designate a charity and help us stretch your donation by matching your contribution to the 501 (c)(3) charity of your choice. We truly appreciate the generosity of our members and thank you for your donation to HALPAC and look forward to continuing to grow and give back.
