ORACLE TO OPEN OFFICE IN LEHI Fortune 100 Company the Latest Tech Firm to Open in Lehi
Lehi, Utah | September 29, 2014 – Oracle Corporation, the Fortune 100 technology firm headquartered in Redwood City, California, is opening a new office in Lehi City, Utah. Oracle is the latest technology firm to open an office in Lehi, which has become the heart of Utah’s “Silicon Slopes.” Oracle’s Lehi office will employ at least 350 workers in high-paying careers. Oracle’s Lehi office will be located at the Traverse Ridge Center, located at SR-92 and Triumph Boulevard. Oracle will occupy two of the three floors, approximately 46,000 square feet, of the 69,000 square foot building. The new Traverse Ridge Center in Lehi will be the home of Oracle, which specializes in developing enterprise Oracle’s Lehi office. hardware and software, as well as database management systems, is one of the largest of its industry, recording $38.3 billion in revenue for Fiscal Year 2014. According to Oracle’s website, the company numbers the top 10 aerospace and defense companies and the top 20 airlines, automotive companies, banks, governments, high tech companies, insurers, manufacturers, medical device companies, oil and gas companies, retailers, and universities among its customers. Oracle also lays claims to the top spot in application server, business analytics, and database services.
“The news that Oracle will be opening an office in Lehi continues the incredible momentum our city is experiencing,” said Lehi City Administrator Derek Todd. Todd continued, “Oracle will add to the number of high-paying jobs located in Lehi, which is good news not just for Lehi’s economy, but for Utah’s economy as a whole.”
